Sunday’s dry and mid-80s weather sets the tone for the upcoming week, following a rainy weekend filled with a few thunderstorms in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Sunday morning will start off cloudy, but as remaining precipitation leaves the area, the day is forecasted by the National Weather Service to warm up to about 83 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the 60s during the evening, according to the weather service.

As D-FW enters the second week of September, temperatures are forecasted to remain steady in the 80s during most of the day and in the 60s during the night throughout Monday and Tuesday.
