PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Authorities have identified a man who was shot and killed Saturday night in south Phoenix, as police continue searching for the suspect.

Phoenix police say officers responded to reports of a shooting near 5th Street and Weir Avenue, just south of Broadway Road, around 7:15 p.m..
When they arrived, they found 43-year-old Antonio Trujillo with life-threatening injuries. He died at the scene
Police confirmed on Sunday that a suspect is on the run, but authorities haven’t provided a description of who they’re looking for.
Detectives sectioned off the area as part of the investigation as authorities worked to piece together what led up to the shooting.
