A man has died after being shot in the head in Philadelphia on Sunday night, according to a spokesperson with the Philadelphia Police Department.

Officers were called to the area of Front and Courtland streets in the Hunting Park section of the city just before 8 p.m. on Sept. 7 for reports of a shooting, police said.

The man was shot in the head while he was behind the wheel of a car, according to Inspector Michael Gormley.

The medics who were at the scene pronounced the man dead, according to police.

The victim’s license is not from Pennsylvania, but police did reveal any more information about him.

The alleged suspect in this shooting was last seen going northbound on Front Street, Inspector Gormley explained.

No arrests have been made yet and no weapons have been found.

Police are investigating this incident.
