Keller Campbell, 27, was arrested and booked into the Fort Worth Jail for murder, according to jail records.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A North Texas woman is facing a murder charge after fatally stabbing a man, according to police.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers responded to a stabbing call in the 2100 block of Grace Avenue on Saturday. There, officers found a man who had been stabbed in his upper body, the department said in a release. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.
Police detained the suspect, 27-year-old Keller Campbell on the scene. The department said detectives learned that Campbell and the man had gotten into an argument, and during the fight, Campbell grabbed a frying pan and then a knife, stabbing the man at least once.
FWPD booked Campbell into the Fort Worth Jail, where she faces a murder charge, early Sunday morning, per jail records.
Police said the victim’s identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once the next of kin has been notified, and that detectives are continuing their investigation.
