BRANSON, Mo. — The last year was one of change for Trent Perry. The athletic small forward moved from his home in the Dallas area to Branson (Mo.) Link Academy and switched summer programs to MoKan Elite. From the looks of things he’s settled in nicely after rising to No. 120 in the updated rankings for the class of 2026 and cutting his list to a final four of Kansas, Maryland, TCU and Vanderbilt.
“I feel like I grew a lot over the summer and last year,” Perry told 247Sports. “Going from Drive Nation to MoKan and then my old high school to Link I feel I adjusted well. It kind of took a second to adjust to both teams but I think developing my brain, my reads my defense, having great energy has stayed the same. I feel like I did a really good job of developing my jumper and getting my handle tighter so I’m really excited to show that off this year and display what I’ve been working on all summer.”
