NEW YORK (WRGB) — The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has broadened a product recall initially issued on June 11, 2025, involving several adult-use cannabis products manufactured by IndoGro LLC.
This expanded recall is a precautionary measure, and the OCM has not received any reports of adverse effects from these products, said officials, however, the investigation is ongoing.
Consumers in possession of the affected products are urged to stop using them immediately and follow disposal instructions available on the OCM’s website. A comprehensive list of recalled products and their lot numbers can be found here.
The initial recall was prompted by concerns over invalid testing results from a former OCM-permitted laboratory. Upon retesting, nine product lots were found to contain unallowable pesticide levels, rendering them unsafe for consumption. The expanded recall now includes 28 additional product lots produced by IndoGro, which were made using materials from an unlicensed out-of-state entity, violating Cannabis Law and public health standards. These products are considered adulterated and potentially hazardous to consumer health and safety.
Consumers who purchased any of the recalled product lots from IndoGro LLC can return them to the retail dispensary where they were bought, even if the products have been opened.
