Taste of the Town Lake Houston

Sample food from local restaurants, bakeries and breweries at this Lake Houston-area food expo. Proceeds will benefit Inspire ND and the work it does to support young adults and families with neurodiversity. Online ticket sales will end at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 10 Tickets will only be sold at the door if available.

Charity Classic Golf Tournament

Spend a day at the golf course for a tournament featuring breakfast, a shotgun start, an awards luncheon, a silent auction and a golf ball drop. Proceeds will benefit Humble Area Assistance Ministries and the Employee Care Foundation.

Music & Motors

Head to Uptown Park in Humble for live music performed by local legend Sundance Head. The event will also feature a water slide for children, food trucks and a vendor market.

Native American Heritage Festival

Attendees of this festival will observe demonstrations and learn about the Indigenous people that lived in Southeast Texas. Exhibitors will include Chikawa Aztec Dance, the American Indian Center and the Texas Archaeological Society. The festival will take place in the lawn near the main stage and at the replica Akokisa Village on Redbud Hill. No reservations are required and no pets are allowed in the festival areas.

Baddies N’ Boots Dance

This annual event hosted by the Humble/Kingwood Subcommittee of the Houston Metro Go Texan Committee will feature live music by the Harris County Band, a silent auction and appetizers. Beverages will be available for purchase and the event is for ages 21 and older. Proceeds will benefit the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, which has awarded $140,000 in scholarships to Humble ISD seniors through its continued educational commitment, per the website.
