A gourmet pizzeria chain is coming to Fort Worth’s West 7th: Mister O1, known for its unique star-shaped pizzas, is opening a location at 628 Harrold St. #100, in the Left Bank mixed-use shopping center.

According to a release it’ll open on September 16.

This is the chain’s sixth restaurant in Dallas-Fort Worth — joining Mansfield and Grapevine — and the second in Fort Worth, following a location that just opened in the Alliance area in June 2025.

“We’ve loved being part of the Fort Worth community, and moving into the vibrant West 7th area was a natural next step for us,” says local partner John LaBarge. “Our star-shaped pizza and bold flavors fit right into the neighborhood’s lively atmosphere. We can’t wait to welcome even more Fort Worth families and friends in to see what makes Mister O1 truly extraordinary.”

Mister O1 does traditional Italian pizza, with a modern take. Each pizza is handcrafted with an ultra-light dough that rests for a minimum of 72 hours and features fresh, high-quality ingredients that are imported from Italy or locally sourced.

The signature item on their menu is the Star Luca, a star-shaped pizza filled with ricotta cheese, spicy salami calabrese, mozzarella, Italian tomato sauce and basil.

They also do serious gourmet pizzas such as the Coffee Paolo, topped with Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola blue cheese, honey, coffee, and spicy salami calabrese. Pizzas start at $8 for a small cheese pizza and top out at $20.

In addition to traditional pizza variations, Mister O1 features select calzone, a half dozen salads with good ingredients, and burrata offerings along with dessert pizzas.

Mister O1 was founded by chef Renato Viola, a native of southern Italy whose immigration story inspired the restaurant’s name, since he came to the U.S. under the O1 Visa, reserved for individuals with extraordinary artistic ability.

Since then, Mister O1 has opened in Texas, Florida and Georgia, and has received national recognition, including nods from the Michelin Guide, Food & Wine Magazine, and PMQ Pizza Magazine most popular independent pizzeria in the U.S.

The 7th Street location is a 3,000-square-foot space with an open-kitchen design, modern Italian aesthetic, and outdoor patio seating.
