Two new apartment towers of the Central Station are set to give downtown Phoenix another site for residences.

The towers, which sit between First and Central avenues on Van Buren Street, offer up 1 million square feet of mixed-use space and transit center south of Civic Space Park, according to a statement from Multistudio, an architecture and design company.

The west tower, named Anova, is a 22-story tower with 655 student and workforce housing beds. The east tower, named The Maeve, is 33 stories of multifamily and workforce housing that is expected to feature retail space at the base of both buildings, according to Multistudio.
