Two pedestrians have been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Markham on Tuesday night.
The collision happened in the area of Birchmount Road and Denison Street shortly before 8:30 p.m.
York Regional Police said the pedestrian sustained serious, potentially life-threatening injuries and were taken to trauma centre.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation, police say.
