Two young men were shot, one fatally, when a gunman opened fire at them on a Brooklyn street in a caught-on-camera killing, cops said Friday.
The two victims, ages 21 and 25, were standing with a group of men near a parked white car on E. 94th St. near Ave. L in Canarsie at about 10:40 p.m. Thursday when the unidentified suspect in a black hoodie and blue medical gloves casually approached, surveillance video shared with the Daily News shows.
Still several feet away, the suspect pulls a handgun tucked into his rear waistband and opens fire, letting loose about eight shots.
The group immediately disperses, ducking behind the car and a corner of a dentist’s office for cover, the video shows.
One man fails to reach cover in time and collapses onto the sidewalk, according to the video.
A dried puddle of blood remained visible on the sidewalk Friday morning.
The 21-year-old victim was sprawled out on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head when police arrived, cops said. The 25-year-old victim had been shot in the right leg.
Both victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where the younger man died. His name was not immediately disclosed Friday.

The older victim is expected to survive, cops said.
So far, he’s refused to talk to police about what happened, a police source with knowledge of the case said.
Workers at nearby stores were stunned to hear about the bloodshed Thursday night, with some finding the carnage their surveillance cameras caught too horrible to watch.
“I kept looking away,” Patti, a receptionist at the dental office, told The News. “He died right there. I live around here, so it’s a little creepy.”
Cops on Friday were searching for more surveillance video that could help investigators determine what happened and identify the shooter.
