The cat fight continues. The Jacksonville Jaguars visit the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium for their first road trip of the 2025 regular season. Jacksonville holds a 13-12 record against Cincinnati. The teams most recently met on Dec. 4, 2023, when the Bengals defeated the Jaguars, 34-31, in overtime. Jacksonville kicked off the 2025 season with a 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 to improve to 16-15 in season openers.
The Jaguars totaled 200 rushing yards in the victory, their most rushing yards in a single game since Week 6 of 2022 at Indianapolis (243). The team also did not allow a sack in Sundayβs game, the second time (2017) in franchise history that Jacksonville did not allow a sack in a season opener.
RB Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries and added three receptions for 13 yards in the Week 1 win. His 143 rushing yards were the second-highest total of his career in a single game and ranked second in the league.
LB Foyesade Oluokun finished Sunday’s game with 10 tackles (six solo), one interception, one forced fumble and one pass defensed. He was the only player in the NFL in Week 1 with two turnovers forced.
