Live Nation, the world’s biggest live-events producer, is following up its 2025 Ticket to Summer discounts for 27 concerts in San Diego with a new discount package for four upcoming concerts at the 19,442-capacity North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.
Keep Summer Going offers a discounted price of two tickets for $50 for unreserved lawn seating at the sprawling open-air venue, starting with tonight’s concert by rappers Lil’ Wayne and Tyga.
The other three concerts for which the $50 for two tickets deal is being offered include:
Friday, Sept. 12: Electronic Dance Music DJ Deorro, with no fewer than five opening acts.
Sept. 23: Billy Idol and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
Oct. 18: Judas Priest, Alice Cooper and Corrosion of Conformity
The show by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Priest and Cooper is the second to last at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in this year’s concert season, which concludes with an Oct. 23 performance by Twenty One Pilots. Joan Jett is also a Rock Hall inductee.
The two tickets for $50 deals include unreserved parking. The online sale for the four concerts will continue while supplies last and will run through the day of each respective show. The discounted ticket are available at: ticketmaster.com/explore/keepsummergoingnicua.
While much of the concert industry has faced a challenging business climate this year, Live Nation in August reported second-quarter revenues of $7 billion, up 16 percent from last year. Live Nation reported selling 130 million tickets for its concerts through July and predicted it will top last year’s record 151 million tickets tally.
