Shooting on LaBelle Street in Jacksonville injures 1

The person’s wounds were life-threatening, according to the Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person was shot at a scene in the 1214 block of LaBelle Street Wednesday afternoon, according to Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department.

JFRD says the person’s gunshot wound was life-threatening.

First responders took the victim to the hospital.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed they were working on the scene but at this time, they have not released further information.
