The World Affairs Council of San Antonio’s multicultural Around the World festival will take place this Saturday, offering participants to a chance to embark on a global adventure without leaving the city.

Staged at the at the Alamo Colleges District, the event features tickets within a broad price range offer varying levels of access to a vibrant celebration of culture that will showcase the heritage of more than 50 countries.

The gathering will enable guests to sample a wide variety of the world’s cuisines while enjoying live music and performances. A raffle will also offer up an array of prizes.

The event is supported by The Big Give, CPS Energy and Alamo Colleges District.

$10 students/military/first responders, $40 members, $50 members, $100 nonmember admission plus year’s membership, 11:30 p.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, Alamo Colleges District Campus, 2222 N. Alamo St., (210) 308-9494, wacofsa.org.
