Another week, another favorable spread for No. 2 Penn State.
The Nittany Lions are 48.5-point favorites to defeat Villanova by FanDuel. The over/under is locked in at 55.5 points, roughly giving Penn State an implied 52-3 win.
James Franklin’s squad is 0-2 against the spread this season. It failed to cover a 43.5-point spread in a 46-11 win over Nevada to open the year and a 41.5-point spread during a 34-0 victory against FIU last week.
The Wildcats are a FCS team and hold a 1-0 record thus far this season after a 24-17 win versus Colgate this past weekend.
Saturday’s game is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff inside Beaver Stadium.
