The Library’s Autumn Concert Series continues on Friday, September 12 at 1 p.m., as violaist Nico Hueso brings a global perspective to the stage. This performance will draw on his classical training and wide-ranging collaborations across genres from mariachi to jazz.
Hueso, violaist and multi-instrumentalist, has performed internationally at festivals in France, Mexico, Puerto Rico, China, and across the U.S. He has performed with members of the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, and Vienna State Opera, as well as artists ranging from Placido Domingo to the rock band Kansas. In addition to his extensive classical and chamber music work, Hueso records and performs in a wide variety of genres, bringing versatility and artistry to every stage.
All concerts in the series are free thanks to the support of the Friends of the Coronado Public Library and the City of Coronado. The Winn Room doors will open to the public 15 minutes prior to each performance.
