PHOENIX — An 18-year-old man was killed and two others were shot in the West Valley on Thursday night.
Dilan Allende, 18, was pronounced dead from at least one gunshot wound suffered near the intersection of 69th Avenue and Butler Drive, according to the Glendale Police Department.
Police are investigating the shooting as an attempted armed robbery, according to a release.
911 callers report shooting
Police arrived at the scene just after 10:30 p.m., following multiple 911 calls from bystanders who heard gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found all three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Detectives have asked for minimal details to be released during the ongoing investigation.
