Tyler Robinson, 22, had become “more political” in the run-up to the shooting and had indicated to a family friend afterwards that he was responsible, said Utah Gov. Spencer Cox.

The Department of Homeland Security said an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer opened fire and killed a suspect in a Chicago suburb today after the suspect tried to evade arrest by driving his car at the officers and dragged one of them.

President Trump today said he intends to make Memphis, Tennessee, the next focus of his pledge to bring the hammer down on crime in America, announcing plans to deploy National Guard troops and potentially the U.S. military to the city if necessary.
”So we’re going to Memphis — I’m just announcing that now — and we’ll straighten that out,” Trump said in an interview on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends. “National Guard and anybody else we need. And by the way, we’ll bring in the military, too, if we need it.”
