A 20-year-old woman was shot and killed Tuesday after an argument occurred near a Fort Worth home.
Ireanna Powe died Tuesday from gunshot wounds to her torso, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner‘s office.
Police were called at about 1:38 a.m. to a shooting in the 6100 block of Sparrow Wood Lane, where officers found the woman shot in her home, police said in a news release.
Detectives determined the woman had been in a verbal argument with a suspected shooter. Witnesses called 911 after hearing a gunshot, and the suspect fled the location in a vehicle, the release says.
