Tennessee (0-1) struggled in offensive execution all game in the Week 1 loss at the Denver Broncos on Sept. 7

JC Latham and T’Vondre Sweat have both been ruled out ahead of the game, limiting both sides of the line of scrimmage.

LA (1-0) pushed around Houston’s offense in a 14-9 win over the Texans last week.

Here are the Tennessean’s expert picks for Rams-Titans:

Nick Suss, Titans beat reporter

Rams 23, Titans 17

The Rams are just the better team. There’s reason to believe the Titans will improve week over week, and Ward has more than a few highlight plays ready to peek through. But the Rams are more complete, more talented and more equipped to win close games late. That happens here.

Gentry Estes, columnist

Rams 24, Titans 13

Nick Gray, trending reporter

Rams 27, Titans 20

The Titans offense has to be better, no? It may be as much about playing the Rams secondary over the Broncos’, even if the Rams pass rush is formidable. But Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense wins out.

Tom Kreager, Tennessean sports director

Rams 28, Titans 12

The Titans’ home opener is a lot like the season opener. It’s the continuation of Fisher ball, with field goals galore as the offense continues to struggle with so many rookies and new faces.
