SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a collision involving an electric bicycle.
According to police, around 8:05 p.m. on Friday, a cyclist was riding an electric bicycle along Corinne Drive, near the corner with Sabyan Drive.
Upon reaching the corner with Sabyan Drive, an unknown sedan allegedly turned left onto eastbound Sabyan without yielding to the cyclist.
The cyclist then collided with the unknown sedan and sustained minor injuries.
Police say the driver of the sedan failed to stop and render aid to the victim, instead fleeing the scene.
When found, the driver of the sedan will be charged with Collision Involving Injury. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Antonio Police Department at (210) 207-7273.
