According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Dallas Cowboys and starting left guard Tyler Smith have agreed to a historic contract extension. Smith is now the highest-paid player at his position, set to make $96 million over the next four years. All but just under $15 million of the deal will be guaranteed as well.

“Sources: The #Cowboys and standout G Tyler Smith agreed to terms on a 4-year, $96M extension —$24M per year — to make him the NFL’s new highest-paid at his position,” Rapoport said via X. “Smith gets a whopping $81.2M guaranteed in a deal done by agents @JoePanos1 and Todd France at @AthletesFirst.”
