Dark blue sedan involved in fatal hit-and-run on San Pedro Avenue; driver remains at large

SAN ANTONIO – Police are asking for help in solving a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of Isai Manuel Alvarado.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. on June 25, 2023, at the corner of San Pedro Avenue and West Laurel Street.

The San Antonio Police Department says 29-year-old Alvarado was walking across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a dark blue sedan traveling southbound.

The driver fled the scene before officers arrived. Alvarado succumbed to his injuries two days later.

Despite ongoing investigation efforts, the suspect remains unidentified.
