Ahead of Sunday night’s ceremony, Emmys celebrations are now officially underway as Hollywood toasts this year’s top TV talents all around town. Netflix, WME and Gersh helped kickstart the awards festivities, with more to come both before and after the Nate Bargatze-hosted big show. Here’s an inside look at the happenings so far, and keep checking back for the latest party-hopping updates.

BAFTA held its annual mid-day celebration at The Maybourne Beverly Hills on Saturday, honoring both British nominees and non-Brits alike. The Adolescence team, though, was treated like royalty, with stars Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Ashley Walters mingling with a constant stream of well-wishers; Graham, who created the Netflix show as well as stars in it, made it clear the success hasn’t gone to his head, as he repeatedly denied photographer requests for individual shots — insisting that he be pictured with his producers and costars because “it’s a team sport.”

Kathryn Hahn, Julianne Nicholson (who already picked up an Emmy win for guest actress in a comedy), Tramell Tillman, Patricia Arquette, Rashida Jones, Quinta Brunson, Ike Barinholtz, Sharon Horgan, Katherina LaNasa, Malin Akerman, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie and Noah Hawley were also among the attendees at the event, which featured several spreads of tea sandwiches, pastries, a tea and coffee bar and a champagne wall, where gloved hands poked through to hand out glasses. But the most popular pastime proved to be a claw machine sponsored by Delta and Virgin Atlantic, where guests could win a round trip flight to London — the line to play stretched across the party.

The agency feted nominated clients — including Colman Domingo, Martin Short, Meghann Fahy, Keri Russell, Gwendoline Christie, Sharon Horgan, Tom Segura, Lionel Boyce, Dan Fogelman, Erin Foster and Sara Foster — on the Waldorf Astoria rooftop on Friday. A spy inside spotted Sirens nominee Fahy busy looking after a seemingly inebriated partygoer while revelers like Sorry, Baby’s Eva Victor, Twisted Tale‘s Monica Lewinsky, Shogun‘s Anna Sawai, Addison Rae and several members of The Bear cast, including Gillian Jacobs, Matty Matheson and Boyce made the rounds. (Star, director and nominee Ayo Edebiri is said to be sitting out the weekend’s festivities as she’s working overseas.) The party’s showrunner contingent included The Paper’s Greg Daniels, who caught up with former Office writer Lee Eisenberg, along with Alan Yang (deep in convo with producer Melvin Mar), Noah Hawley, Seth MacFarlane, Joanna Calo, The White Lotus’ Dave Bernad and, fresh off their season two renewal, The Hunting Wives’ May Cobb and Rebecca Cutter. They all mixed and mingled with a packed house of agents and execs, including HBO’s Casey Bloys, Sony’s Katherine Pope and Ravi Ahuja, Disney’s Karey Burke, DC Studio’s Peter Safran, Fx’s Nick Grad, CBS’ Amy Reisenbach, Netflix’s Ginny Howe, Point Grey’s James Weaver and A24’s Sam French along with WME co-chairmen Richard Weitz and Christian Muirhead.
