Malik Nabers: See video of NY Giants star receiver during practice

There was optimism around the Giants following a successful preseason that maybe Big Blue could challenge the NFC runner-up Commanders in Week 1, who only lost by a combined eight points in their two matchups in 2024.
With new QB Russell Wilson, things were supposed to be different. And yet, it was the same old story in Week 1.
The Giants offense struggled all game long and couldn’t find the end zone in a demoralizing 21-6 loss to the Commanders.
The questions are already starting about when we’ll see rookie first-round pick QB Jaxson Dart under center, while Giants coach Brian Daboll remains confident in the veteran signal caller as he intends to still start Wilson in a Week 2 NFC East matchup on the road against the Cowboys.

With Week 2 upon us, here are our staff predictions for this NFC East contest between the Giants and Cowboys:
Art Stapleton
The pick: Cowboys 20, Giants 13
Here’s why: For one, it’d be nice if the offense looked a little bit like a professional unit that could function outside of Russell Wilson throwing up jump ball prayers to Malik Nabers. The interior offensive line was pushed all over the field. Dak Prescott has won 13 consecutive starts against the Giants, going back to a pair of losses in the 2016 season, his rookie year. It’s hard to see the Giants completely turning things around in one week, especially given their history.
Bert Bainbridge
The pick: Cowboys 30, Giants 17
Here’s why: AT&T Stadium has been a house of horror for the Giants. They’ve lost eight consecutive games and have come up short in 11 of the last 12 meetings in Jerry World with their last win in Dallas coming all the way back in 2016, the second most recent time the G-Men have made the playoffs. The Micah Parsons-less Cowboys nearly spoiled the Eagles banner raising night in Week 1, but came up just short with wide receivers having costly drops, including No. 1 wideout CeeDee Lamb.
Giants’ QB Russell Wilson will get his first passing touchdown as a member of Big Blue, but growing questions will continue to loom about when Jaxson Dart will start following another double digit loss to the Cowboys in Week 2.
Brian Marron
The pick: Cowboys 24, Giants 10
Here’s why: With Russell Wilson back at the helm, and with a porous offensive line, it is hard to see the Giants generating enough offense to upset the Cowboys. The defense can keep games close into the fourth quarter, like we saw in Week 1, but look for Dallas to ice the game with a late score.
Bob Jordan
The pick: Giants 17, Cowboys 14
Here’s why: Cowboys’ receiver CeeDee Lamb had four drops last week against the Eagles – two of them on the final drive, highlighting how bad Dallas looked over the final 30 minutes of that game. The ‘Boys look ripe to get picked off by Giants.
Dave Rivera
The pick: Cowboys 23, Giants 17
Here’s why: Dak Prescott, who has had the Giants’ number over the years, played well in Philly in Week 1 and has given Cowboys fans reason to believe they can compete this season. Can’t say the same about Giants QB Russell Wilson, based on his opening performance in Washington.
Chris Iseman
The pick: Cowboys 28, Giants 14
Here’s why: The Giants showed nothing in Week 1 to indicate this year would be any different. So until that happens, there’s no reason to think they’ll beat Dallas in Week 2.
