Possible DUI suspect ditches car near riverbed after pursuit in South El Monte – NBC Los Angeles

Authorities were in pursuit of a driver Saturday who was wanted for possible DUI and reckless driving in South El Monte.

Several patrol cars were behind the driver as he made his way through a bike path near a riverbed.

The pursuit suspect ditched his vehicle before fleeing into a nearby residential area on foot.

It’s unclear if any arrests were made.
