SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after he was shot during an early morning argument on the city’s Northwest Side.

The incident occurred around 4:47 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of NW 24th Street.

According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), a 37-year-old man was walking toward a parked car when an unidentified suspect approached him on the sidewalk, leading to a verbal disturbance. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the man in his extremities, before fleeing the scene.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.
