PHOENIX — The popular Asian food and culture festival, Panda Fest, is making a stop in Scottsdale from Nov. 21-23.
More than 120 Asian food vendors, artisans and performers will be stationed at Salt River Fields to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures for the weekend.
The festival was founded by BiuBiu Xu, who created New York City’s Dragon Fest. It began as a one-day pop-up but has grown to a multi-city, traveling entity with stops in Boston, Charlotte, the Twin Cities, Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Phoenix, which will be the final stop on the tour.
“The Panda Fest team is thrilled to offer hard-to-access authentic flavors from across the globe to Valley foodies and families,” Xu said. “If you’re craving sights, smells and spices from home, or looking to appreciate culture through supporting Asian artists and performers, Panda Fest offers something for everyone.”
Activity stations for sugar painting, calligraphy and paper cutting will be set up throughout the festival.
There will also be a 15-foot, Instagram-worthy inflatable panda.
Early bird tickets are $10 and go on sale starting Wednesday. After Sept. 28, tickets increase to $14.
Each general admission ticket includes entry and two complimentary gifts. VIP tickets are $35.
