LIVERPOOL N.Y. — The CNY Diaper Bank is celebrating its 10th Annual Diaper Need Awareness Week from September 15–21, calling on Central New York businesses and community members to support families in need.
Founded in 2016, the nonprofit has distributed over 8 million diapers to local families and continues to address the high cost of diapers, which are not covered by SNAP or WIC benefits.
Founder Michela Hugo said, “Many families in Syracuse struggle just to provide diapers — a basic need no child should go without. During Diaper Need Awareness Week, we all have an opportunity to help change that.”
From September 15 through October 15, monetary donations will be doubled thanks to a matching grant of up to $10,000. Supporters can also host diaper drives, donate supplies at drop-off locations, or participate in employer match campaigns.

- Donations can be dropped off at the BIG, PURPLE collection bin outside the CNY Diaper Bank office at Pioneer Warehousing and Distribution, 4645 Crossroads Park Drive, Liverpool, NY 13088.
