CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — Clay County Sheriff’s deputies are currently on scene of a shooting in the area of Brannan Oaks Drive and Challenger Drive near Oakleaf Plantation Monday morning, according to a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office.
Clay County deputies did not give the details of the shooting, as they say the investigation is still in its early stages, but did say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and of no concern to the broader community.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said investigators don’t have information at this time on a possible suspect.
Deputies said to expect delays to school due to the large police presence in the area causing traffic delays.
