LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) — A truck and boat trailer were towed out of the Mississippi River on Saturday after becoming fully submerged at the La Crescent Sportsman’s Boat Landing on Monday.
The recovery effort was coordinated by the Houston County Sherriff’s Office with assistance from the La Crescent Police Department.
Officials are asking residents to double-check their gear settings and launch procedures when using a boat launch.
No injuries were reported.
