Kickoff time announced for Jacksonville State football's trip to Southern Miss on Sept. 27

Jacksonville State football now has a kickoff time for its matchup with Southern Miss.

The Sept. 27 game will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT from MM Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, Miss. The game will air on ESPN Platforms, with a TV designation not being finalized, but most likely streaming only on ESPN+.

The Gamecocks (1-2) host Murray State on Homecoming on Sept. 20 before the road trip that will wrap up non-conference play. The Gamecocks picked up their first Conference USA win against Liberty in Week 2 of the college football season.

In 2024, the Gamecocks ran all over Southern Miss in a 44-7 win to break a three-game losing streak.
