Partner Ryan Nordhaus and associate attorneys Andrew Boone and Chad Osbourn have joined Cantey Hanger.
“We’re pleased to add a partner in Dallas, and two associates we expect will learn and continue the legacy of a firm that has served clients with expertise and exactness for 143 years,” said Brian Newby, the firm’s managing partner, in a statement.
Nordhaus is board-certified in family law, a credentialed mediator in civil and family law, and a member of the Family Law, Computer and Technology and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections of the State Bar of Texas.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M) in 2002, and three years later graduated from SMU’s Dedman School of Law with a Master of Laws in Taxation. He has a BBA in management information systems and international business from Baylor University.
Nordhaus is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice in all state courts and district courts in the Northern, Eastern and Western districts of Texas.
He is a 10-time honoree of Texas Monthly Super Lawyers.
Boone is a 2023 graduate of Baylor University School of Law, having made the Dean’s List all nine quarters and earning magna cum laude status. He earned a bachelor’s in fine arts from Abilene Christian University.
Most recently, Boone served as a law clerk for Judge Mark T. Pittman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Osbourn graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law and completed his undergraduate work with a bachelor’s in agribusiness at Tarleton State University. He joins Cantey Hanger after having served as a legal clerk with Gaston Strain L.L.P, in Waco, working oil and gas and property litigation.
