Here are three ways to submit an anonymous tip to First Coast Crime Stoppers and possibly get a cash reward.
Security video shows two grandmotherly-looking women casually grabbing bottle after bottle of wine and not paying for them during a recent shoplifting heist, and now they’re being featured on the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s “Wanted Wednesday” Facebook post.
On Sept. 8, they and possibly a grandson are seen walking into a liquidation store on St. Augustine Road and, despite obvious security cameras, start snatching bottles from the shelve. The Sheriff’s Office said the clip only shows them taking a few bottles, but by the end they had heisted at least 60 bottles.
If anyone can identify them, call the Sheriff’s Office at (904) 630-0500 or anonymously at First Coast Crime Stoppers at (866) 845-TIPS where you could be eligible for a cash reward large enough to buy as much wine as you want.
