SAN ANTONIO – It’s a heavyweight showdown at Lehnhoff Stadium tonight as unbeaten Alamo Heights (3-0) takes on Clemens (2-1) in this week’s edition of Little Caesars’ Thursday Night Lights presented by Gamez Law Firm.
The Mules have cruised through their first three games, piling up points at will, averaging 55 per game, with running back DK Garza already at nearly 750 rushing yards. Head coach Ron Rittimann has his squad looking balanced and dangerous, not just relying on one star to carry the load.
The Buffaloes, led by second-year head coach Alan Hill, have bounced back strong since a narrow three-point opening loss.
They’ve rolled to back-to-back wins, scoring 40 points a game behind the versatile Christian Dupree, who has 21 catches for 300 yards plus another 120 on the ground. Dupree has already committed to UTSA, while Hill credits his team’s growth to a stronger culture and offseason work.
It’s offense against offense, with both teams coming in red hot. Expect fireworks as Clemens looks to hand Alamo Heights its first loss of the season.
