Body found in Brays Bayou identified as missing UH student

The body that was recovered in a Houston bayou earlier this week has been identified as a missing University of Houston student.

Jada McKissic, 20, was identified as the body recovered near 4998 Medical Service Drive in Houston on Monday.

OUR FIRST REPORT: Body located in Houston’s Brays Bayou

According to a report by The Cougar, McKissic was last seen at LA Burgers and Daquiris on Sept. 11. She was reported missing on Sept. 14.

The Cougar’s report also said McKissic was a junior at the university, majoring in strategic communications and advertising.

The medical examiner’s office has not released McKissic’s cause of death at this time.
