Raja Jackson, son of UFC legend Quinton Jackson, will officially face criminal charges for his attack on fellow professional wrestler Syko Stu (Stuart Smith). According to a breaking report from TMZ, Jackson was taken into custody on Thursday and booked on a felony charge. The specific charge is still unknown, but Jackson remains behind bars and is facing a $50,000 bail.

For those who missed it, Jackson pummeled an unconscious Smith multiple times last month before other wrestlers were able to intervene. The duo had an altercation prior to their wrestling match, blurring the lines between performance and real beef. Regardless, it’s clear Jackson went too far in sending Smith to the hospital with multiple injuries, and even his father “Rampage” thinks some jail time would be appropriate.

Despite the attack, Jackson recently signed with a new professional wrestling company. At the time of writing, it’s unclear whether Jackson will be able to make bail and live up to those contractual obligations.
