LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln’s own Jadyn Cree is back in town after a whirlwind of a season on NBC’s the Voice. On Friday, she celebrated her finish on the show with a concert at the Rococo Theatre.
Cree performed 80’s hits with the band AM/FM, and was joined by someone who also happened to be on the show last year, her dad Bryan Olesen.
Olesen opened up the concert, getting the crowd ready for Cree and doing a Q&A with her. A full circle moment for the father-daughter duo as they share an ever-lasting memory.
“Being able to have that experience together was just insane,” Cree said. “It’s not something you see every single day. It’s fun to be back on stage with him”
“Yeah and it was fun for me to just be at every one of those performances she did, it was such a wonderful experience,” Olesen said. “I wish we could just do it all over again.”
Cree said she’s hoping to continue her singing career performing with AM/FM this summer, and is starting to write some of her own songs.
