The Ed Willkie Middle School yearbook staff in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD was one of only 15 schools out of 450 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to receive the Jostens 2024-25 National Yearbook Program of Excellence, Gold Level Award. It’s the first time the school has earned this prestigious honor.

“This award is a huge accomplishment for our student yearbook staff,” yearbook adviser Tammy Greene said. “They worked so hard to capture the story of our school in a way that is meaningful and engaging. Their creativity and commitment set a new standard for excellence here at Ed Willkie.”

The award-winning staff members include 2024-2025 students Alice Alberter, Sophie Amidon, Audrey Buchanan, Nahiomy Duron, Jayda Guzman, Hadley Hawkins, Sophia Iracheta, Leyla Keo, Promise Kunkel, Katie Le, Kali Martinez, Mariela Medina, Amanda Moreno, Madison Poindexter, Courtney Reynolds, Sophia Sanchez, Landen Stepp, and Kolten Zitkovic.
