SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized after being shot during an alleged altercation on the Southeast Side, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday at South Pine Street and Baldwin Boulevard.
According to an SAPD preliminary report, the man was driving when he stopped to speak with an unknown person.
While talking, an alleged altercation occurred, and the person shot the man, police said. The shooter fled the scene in an unknown direction, SAPD said.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
