Jones Jr. is in his second season with the Bears and appeared in Chicago’s Week 1 matchup against Minnesota. Joining the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2024, Jones spent the entirety of the 2024 season on the practice squad, appearing in one game for the Bears. Jones made his NFL debut in Chicago’s Week 10 matchup against New England last season. Jones appeared in a program-record 57 career games at UCLA (2019-23), including all 26 outings for the Bruins over his final two seasons. Jones totaled 135 career tackles over his tenure with the Bruins, including eight sacks, as well as an interception in 2022 to go along with one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Jones set the school record with his 57 career games played following his contributions in UCLA’s win over Boise State in the 2023 LA Bowl.
Kpassagnon appeared in each of the first two games this season for Chicago, securing three tackles, including one sack. A nine-year veteran, Kpassagnon, who joined the Bears in 2025 during Training Camp, has appeared in 105 career regular-season games for the Kansas City Chiefs (2017-20), New Orleans Saints (2021-24) and Chicago Bears (2025), starting 34 appearances along the defensive front. Over his career, Kpassagnon has totaled 142 tackles (94 solo), including 17.5 sacks, accounting for 23tackles for loss. In the postseason, Kpassagnon has amassed three sacks in eight outings (six starts), all with Kansas City, helping the Chiefs secure back-to-back Super Bowl appearances (2019 and 2020), securing a World Championship in 2019. A native of Kalamazoo, Mich., Kpassagnon prepped collegiately at Villanova, appearing in 41 career games over four seasons of action (2012-15) and finishing his career with First-Team AP FCS All-America honors.
