This game will be the Texans‘ first visit to Jacksonville since Houston linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair’s illegal hit on Lawrence, which knocked the quarterback out for the remainder of the season and triggered a brawl between the teams. The NFL subsequently suspended Al-Shaair three games for the play. The Texans swept the season series in 2024 and haven’t lost to the Jaguars in Jacksonville since 2017.
