Three people were taken to hospitals by paramedics after they were injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles, with one vehicle catching fire.
The crash occurred about 6:10 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West Vernon Avenue, just east of the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz. None of the vehicles’ occupants was trapped inside.
The California Highway Patrol shut down the Vernon Avenue off-ramp from the 110 Freeway while the crash was investigated, and while wreckage was removed.
The ages, genders and conditions of the three injured were not immediately available, Lantz said.
