The Largest Anime Convention In North Texas Arrives In Fort Worth This Winter

It’s hard to believe that fall is already here. Next thing you know, it’ll be the holidays, winter, and so on. This December will see the return of Anime Frontier. Presented by Crunchyroll, Anime Frontier is a three-day festival that celebrates all things anime complete with acclaimed special guests, exhibits, and exciting premiers.

Created by LeftField Media, Anime Frontier debuted in Fort Worth in December 2021. Since then, the annual festival has grown into the largest anime convention in North Texas. This December, the convention returns for its fifth installment: promising appearances by acclaimed voice actors, a vibrant marketplaces, and all sorts of special events.

“Anime Frontier has found its home in Fort Worth and to see the collaboration between cultures and creativity has been incredible,” said Vice President of Content & Anime Events at LeftField Media, MK Goodwin in a press release. “Each year Anime Frontier gets bigger and better and 2025 will be no exception”.

Kicking off on December 12, Anime Frontier is set to host an array of special guests from the world of voice acting to cosplayers, V-tubers, and more. Featured guests include Critical Role members, and appearances from Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Aleks Le, Liam O’Brian, Amanda “AmaLee” Lee, and more!

Some of the programming highlights include the return of Bang Zoom Studios. The studio will host an immersive voice acting experience providing educational opportunities for interested voice actors as well as auditions.

Additionally, Anime Frontier will host Wild West Idol Fest, a Western-themed concert showcase of local talent performing popular anime, J-Pop, and K-Pop songs. Over the course of the convention, the Anime Frontier will host its curated selection of exhibits, artists, manga/comic creators, writers, and more at its Artist Alley.

Anime Frontier takes place at the Fort Worth Convention Center located at 1201 Houston St., Fort Worth, from December 12 – December 14. Tickets are now on sale through the event website here.
