Dallas-Fort Worth residents can expect a hot Sunday with temperatures possibly hitting the highest they have been this June.
Sundays’ high temperature could hit 96 degrees. The heat index is expected to get as high as 103 degrees. The highest recorded temperature this month in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been 95 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The day is forecasted by the weather service to be hot and humid, with gusts up to 15 mph coming from the south.
By night, temperatures may get as low as 77 degrees.
