UPDATE (10:00 P.M.) – According to initial reports, the fire was initially called in to first responders, but upon the arrival of fire crews, an unidentified male met them with a gun.

Reports indicate the suspect would go back inside the burning building and barricade himself inside.

Despite the best efforts of negotiators, as the fire grew and began to consume the house, the individual did not move from the building.
