This weekend on In Focus, we’re taking a closer look at the end of the legislative session.
JoDee Kenney sat down with Paul Zuber, the executive vice president from the Business Council of New York State. He spoke about the growing concern over how big the budget has grown over the past decade.
JoDee also sat down with Assemblymember Pam Hunter from the 128th district. Hunter says the budget agreement was a long process and that 38 days late is not an insignificant amount of time. Hunter says it is a great budget.
JoDee then sat down with state Sen. Kristen Gonzalez from the 59th district. She says the budget did a lot of good things and shows deep investments in key areas like health care access, affordable housing, climate, and universal childcare.
