Mike Budenholzer on Devin Booker’s game winner over Milwaukee Bucks
Suns coach Mike Budenholzer complimented his team on their execution of the play that led to Devin Booker’s game-winning shot over the Bucks.
Devin Booker is ranked 16th on the ESPN NBA Rank list of top 100 players for the 2025-26 season. He’s the only Phoenix Suns player on the list.
The Suns had three players ranked last year: Kevin Durant (9th), Booker (15th), and Bradley Beal (70th). The Suns traded Durant to Houston and bought out Beal, who is now with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Booker is entering his 11th season, all with Phoenix, as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. The Suns open training camp Thursday, Sept. 25, at the team’s practice facility.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, Dallas Mavericks big Anthony Davis, Cavs forward Evan Mobley, Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams are ranked 15 through 11 on the countdown list.
New Suns guard Jalen Green isn’t ranked after being 69th last year. The Suns acquired Dillon Brooks, Green and the 10th overall pick in the 2025 draft who wound up being Duke 7-footer Khaman Maluach from Houston in the Durant trade.
Durant will once again make the top 10 in the ESPN list, which will be revealed on Thursday, Sept. 25.
Former Suns wing Mikal Bridges is ranked 48th on the list, dropping 10 spots from last year. He’s entering his second season with the New York Knicks.
Three more former Suns made the list in Cam Johnson (67th, Denver Nuggets), Toumani Camara (78th, Portland Trail Blazers) and Beal (86th,).
