Upscale Miami Italian restaurant and private club, Casa Tua Cocina, and London’s famed Mexican-Japanese restaurant, Los Mochis, will make their Los Angeles debut in a forthcoming 200,000-square-foot retail and dining property called One Beverly Hills in 2027.
Construction began on One Beverly Hills — a $10 billion development on the triangular corridor at Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Merv Griffin Way, and the Los Angeles Country Club — in February 2024. When complete, the mixed-use project will feature 45 restaurants and retail businesses, including an outlet for Dolce & Gabbana, plus an all-suite hotel, two residential towers (Aman Beverly Hills), private gardens for residents, and a 10-acre botanical garden by Rios Design Studio that will connect the currently under-construction Beverly Hilton and the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Cain International is developing the property.
Los Mochis, a London-based restaurant that combines Mexican and Japanese flavors, will make its U.S. debut at One Beverly Hills. The restaurant opened its first location in London’s Notting Hill in 2021 and a second rooftop flagship location in 2024. Alongside dishes like snow crab guacamole, chipotle miso soup, sushi, and miso nopales tacos, Los Mochis is well-known for its sake room and a late-night agave bar with rare tequilas and mezcals. The Beverly Hills outpost will encompass 12,000 square feet, a lush 2,000-square-foot garden, a private dining room, and Tuna Ten Rei, a Mexican-Japanese omakase in a hidden counter where a chef will host a tuna cutting ceremony. The menu is entirely gluten- and nut-free.
Italian restaurant Casa Tua will join Los Mochis at the new development. Miky and Leticia Grendene opened the restaurant’s first location in Miami in 2001, and have since expanded it to New York, Miami, Aspen, Paris, and more. Casa Tua’s private club is considered one of Miami’s most exclusive. Casa Tua Beverly Hills will encompass a 20,000-square-foot restaurant and marketplace where Aman residents can shop for Italian specialties and produce, while diners can sit down for antipasti, traditional pastas, branzino, and Dover sole.
The arrival of Los Mochis and Casa Tua reflects a wider reinvestment in shopping mall dining. This year, Westfield Century City welcomed Spanish restaurant Casa Dani, and will soon be home to David Chang’s next restaurant, Super Peach. In West Hollywood, a Japanese food hall with eight high-end restaurants by Round 1 Delicious will debut in late 2025 as part of the Now development.
Los Mochis and Casa Tua will open in 2027 at 9900 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA, 90210.
